In Brave New World by Adouls Huxley,is one disturbing book. How all of the people are born from in a laboratory not how we are born today. They are all born to do what is told. They are dictated and brain washed to do what they are to do and like when their kids just to start them early and make them look forward on what they will do later on in life.Such as in life today. In some countries they start their little kids early to fight and to work. They put them in it early so when they get older they know what do to and how to do it with out complains. Like most of us today would just complain and not want to do it, people in other coutries have it the hard way and just do what they are told. They aree like robots.Robots with no feelings what so ever.
In the book they were made in a laboratory, such as the Fertilizing Room. They all loooked and were the same type of person, they were basically all related. I think that is very disturbing because what if they want to do you know"the monkey dance" as Mrs.Belman and our gymnastics team calls it, they would be having sexual intercourses with their brothers and sisters. That is just plain gross. As i said above they seem like robots during class we had the discussion on how are they supposed to get the pleasure they want if they had no feelings? are they supposed to just lay while the other person does all the work.(wow doies this feel way uncomfortable talking about this stuff) But I mean its weird just knowing that they are all related some how and they are doing this type of "activity" and maybe enjoying it or not just gives ya the creepers. But some countries are like this or their parents chose what and who they marry. Very depressing because then how can you find your true love? In the book they might have no emotion so how are they to know what love really is or even if they are the ones?
I would so hate to live in that type of environment. Some times we have to thank our world that it isn't so much like this book because then everyone in the world would be related and not be their own selfs.

The day we read about twins being born in BNW, but instead of 2 there were 80 cloned robots, I felt a bit woozy and sick too. It just seems really abnormal and eeeuh. I would not ever consider that choice. However did you get the feeling that the characters, mainly Bernard, Helmholtz, and Lenina are aware of why they feel guilty or saddened by their appearance and not about being brother and sister (for now)? I found this to be rather confusing. They are not even worried or are possibly unaware of being related and because they accept so easily is why this book partially scares me. Also just viewing the society in BNW, I feel that this society has a little hope for becoming normal or closer to day again in that the 3 characters actually feel rather than obey. However, building the perfect utopia is impossible without an addition of conflicts or problems; something will go wrong (like jillybeejay mentioned aka de Dios).
